Felt Making UK

Handmade felt is a wonderful medium that uses a natural, renewable resource for limitless creations. I dye most of my fibres and uses a variety of sheep fleeces from many breeds to achieve my unique finish.

I use serveral local Ayrshire breeds in my work. I also use Norwegian wild wool . This is a home based company that flows with the momentum of family life. My workshop is a yurt or ger, set within my garden. These structures have influenced my work greatly since I became a yurt keeper and storyteller for the Scottish Storytelling Yurt.
